Summer Fun Program (2010)
Have the kids ages 3-6 years old pack a lunch and we will provide the smiles. Our 3-day weekly sessions are from 9:30 A.M. to 12 P.M.
Dough Nuts
June 8th, 9th, and 10th
Calling all dough lovers we will use our imaginations to create with play dough make our own dough, eat a doughlicious snack, and learn about the history of play dough
Dynamite Dinosaurs
June 15th, 16th and 17th
Learn about our prehistoric pals. Kids will go on a big dig and some mini digs for dino bones, skeletons and more! Come sing, read and create dinosaurs galore.
Amigos Spanish
June 22, 23rd and 24th
We will play games, sing songs, hear stories, and do activities in Spanish. Children will learn short phrases and everyday vocabulary.
Stars N' Stripes
June 29th , 30th and July 1st
We will do crafts and sing songs that celebrate U.S. history. We will learn about our flag and do Fourth of July crafts. Wear your red, white, and blue and join us.
Kids Cook
July 6th, 7th and 8th
We will mix, stir, chop, pour, mash and spread up some delicious recipes. We'll supply the aprons and the fun
Oceans in Motion
July 13th, 14th and 15th
Explore the deep blue, will look at sharks, dolphins, starfish, and more ocean life using books, hands on activities and art.
Mother Goose on the Loose
July 20th, 21st and 22nd
Kids can't resist traditional nursery rhymes. We will do activities, sing songs, make crafts and act out our favorites.
Explore Nature Galore
July 27th, 28th and 29th
We will explore on our woodland nature trails in search of birds, butterflies, and plant life. Kids will learn about habitats, play camouflage, hear stories, and paint their very own bird feeder!
Paint my World
August 3rd, 4th and 5th
We will use finger paint, water colors, tempra, and a variety of methods to unleash the artist in us all.
Outrageous Outdoors
August 10th, 11th and 12th
Kids will play outdoor games that get them moving! From obstacle courses to Ring around the Roseies kids will laugh and learn outdoors.
Creepy Crawlies
August 17th, 18th and 19th
Kids can't resist learning about insects and their habitats, through songs, stories, outdoor exploration and art.
Music and Movement
August 24th, 25th and 26th
Kids will move to different beats using scarves, beanbags, yoga, rhythm sticks, hula-hoops and parachute activities. Focus on developing confidence, coordination, balance and rhythm.
